The World Test Championship continues onto it’s 2nd day. 2nd day of play that is , since the first day was washed out completely ( as is expected in England ) . It is now 3 days at stumps in the match , with New Zealand having the edge in this series . While 3 days of time line is up , we can still expect 3 more days of play courtesy of the reserve day kept for the game. At the end of day 3 , the Black Caps were at 101/2 , trailing behind India by 116 runs . While 24 hours ago , India was in a commanding position while batting , with 2 set batsmen , Kyle Jamieson turned out to be the Kiwi’s hero in arms , with a 5 wicket haul to collapse the batting lineup for India and exposing our lack of batting experience of our tailenders . While Virat Kohli and Rahane did valiantly try theirbest to salvage our score , they fell prey to Jamieson and Wagner at 44 and 49 respectively, after whom only Ashwin could add more than 20 runs . New Zealand on the other hand end the day at a comfortable 101/2 , with Devon Conway leading the early charge till he got out at 54 .This is a tight spot for India , but as mentioned before , there are still 3 days of play left .
